All funds used by the Career Solutions Center, Work Connection, Inc.'s Scholarship Program are provided through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).

Career Solutions Center, Work Connection, Inc. funding is available for:

  • Tuition

  • Books

  • Supplies

  • Tools

  • Supportive Services



Before being considered to receieve school funding through the
Career Solutions Center, Work Connection, Inc. you must:

Step 1 - Select your training from WIA approved training providers.
(Check with Career Solutions Center, Work Connection, Inc. for more information
on approved training providers.)


Step 2
- Apply for admission to your selected training provider.



Step 3
- Apply for the federal Pell Grant. (Receipt of Pell Grant, TOPS, or Other Funding does not
necessarily affect your abilty to receieve funding.)


Step 4 - Complete assessments. (Past grades and/or Career Solutions Center, Work Connection
Inc
. assessments tools must indicate that you are a good candidate for the training that you
select. Anyone who is denied funding based on assessment may reapply the following semester
if they successfully complete a semester with a 2.0 grade average.)


Funding is contingent upon eligibility requirements.

All services are offered pending the availability of funds.
